Policies and Procedures

• Prorating must be arranged at the time of registration, BEFORE a session begins, and is at the discretion of the administration.

• No credits or refunds are given even before a session commences. Refunds will be at the discretion of the administration if requested 7 days before class start. Classes have minimum enrollments and are build upon the commitments of our students through registration and payment of classes before a session begins. 

• If a student misses a class after the session has begun, the student should inform the administration by phone (631-250-9009) or by e-mail (director@atelierflowerfield.org) to advise their instructor. 

• Make-up classes are at the discretion of the instructor, and must take place within the same session. No make-ups will be honored once a session has ended. If the student is unable to make up the class with their own instructor they may make up their class in another instructor's class at the discretion of that second instructor.  Class credit will not be given.

• If The Atelier must cancel a class, a make-up date will be arranged. If the student is unable to attend the make-up class, The Atelier will offer a credit or a make-up in another class.

• If The Atelier must cancel an entire session, a full refund or credit will be given.

• If a teacher cancels a class, The Atelier will attempt to find a substitute teacher. If that is not possible, a make-up date will be arranged.

Students are responsible for keeping their workspace clean and neat. Tables must be wiped off, and easels, tables, and stools must be put back against the wall in an orderly fashion. Still Life setups can only be kept set up in the studio if there is space and it does not interfere with other classes.
