Opportunities

The Atelier is looking for Figure Drawing models! We are also looking for portrait models  who are comfortable nude modeling.

• Figure Drawing models must be able to withstand long and short poses.
• Portrait models must be able to withstand sitting for extended periods of time.
• Must be available for four-week sessions at a time.
• Nude Figure Models: Must be available for rotation for for weeks dedicated to Monday Long Pose Open Figure Nights (6-9pm).
• Models available to do Workshop poses will be scheduled weeks to months in advance.
• Experience is preferred but not required.
• You must be 18+ to model.

All models must be properly vetted before being placed on the Atelier list

• Interview - All models must have an in-person meeting/interview with the Administrative Assistant or the Director.
• ID - All models must provide an ID—License
• Reference - One work reference (email and phone number) to be provided

Key studio rules

• Respect & Privacy - Models are vital; their space must never be violated, and they need privacy to dress/undress.
• No Photography -Taking photos of the model is strictly forbidden.
• No Unwanted Contact/Advances - Physical contact or harassment is prohibited.
• Studio Conduct - No cell phone use, no talking/distractions during poses, no entering while posing.
• Instructor/Monitor Control - Only instructors/monitors give pose directions; students don't interact directly.
• Scheduling - Adhere to posted pose/break times (e.g., 20-min pose, 5-min break cycle).
• Robes - All models must bring a robe and wear it in-between poses.
• No Private Sessions - Students can't hire models for private sessions on Atelier property.

The Atelier at Flowerfield offers open studio time to both students and non-students, available on Fridays from 1pm-5pm. Open studio time is FREE for Atelier students currently enrolled in classes, and $10/hour for non-students.
