Kid's Classes

Teacher teaching children how to draw a dog.

Art & Art History for the Young (Ages 6 - 12)

Instructor: Linda Catucci

A course for ages 7-11 where your child enjoys a creative array of art projects while learning Art History from the Renaissance to Modern Art, from realism to the abstract and everything in between.

Students learn everything from drawing with pencil and oil pastels, painting with acrylics and watercolor as well as clay sculpting. In addition, during each class, we take a short break to enjoy a video on an artist, artwork or subject pertaining to that day’s lesson.

Our goal is to teach students the 7 Elements of Art and the 7 Principles of Design through fun and challenging projects. Here they can create their own beautiful self-expressive artwork while gaining confidence, focus, increase their creativity and use their imagination.

Summer I Session: 2 weeks starting 7/23/22

Day & Time: Saturdays 10:00am - 12:00pm, In-studio
