Join Fellowship Alum Jonathan Horn as he walks the class through how to use visual language to craft a story within a single image. This class will be focused on traditional mediums such as oil, gouache, watercolor, but digital illustration is encouraged as well. Students will learn how to utilize landscape, facial expressions, color, lighting, and context to convey a story or message of their choosing.

A comprehensive art class focused on cultivating skills in the fundamentals of manga character creation and design. Students will be delving into the intricacies of character anatomy/proportions and clothing designs to bring your anime-inspired characters to life.

A comprehensive art class focused on cultivating skills in the fundamentals of manga character creation and design. Students will be delving into the intricacies of character anatomy/proportions and clothing designs to bring your anime-inspired characters to life.
This class is beginner-friendly, but all levels of ability are welcome. Work can be done traditionally or digitally, however materials are not included. Students are encouraged to bring a tablet/ laptop if they prefer to do their work digitally, or a drawing pad and pencils/ pens if they prefer to do their work traditionally.
